30-MIN STRENGTH AND BALANCE TRAINING

ALL LEVELS / home workout / strength and balance training / 30 minutes

Equipment: Yoga blocks or a pile of books, towel

While we wait at home for our EVO clubs to reopen, we must stay active. Starting today, we will bring you home workouts designed and performed by our personal trainers. They’re part of our IGTV home workout series. Over the next weeks, we will be bringing you more sessions like this.

Angie Cavazos, our personal trainer from EVO Mariahilfer Straße in Vienna, is responsible for the workout we are about to go over.

It’s a 30-minute strength and balance training with focus on shoulders, back, arms, legs and glutes.

Are you ready? All you need is some yoga blocks (or a pile of books) and a towel. Let’s start!

30-MIN STRENGTH AND BALANCE TRAINING

WARM UP – 2 ROUNDS

  1. Jumping jacks
  2. Sprawls

1ST SUPERSET – 3 ROUNDS

  1. Push-up reach outs – 5 reps
  2. Towel rows – 5 reps each side

Rest

2ND SUPERSET – 3 ROUNDS

  1. Skater Squat – 8 reps
  2. Turn out deadlift with Yoga block – 8 reps

Rest

3RD SUPERSET – 3 ROUNDS

  1. Forearm plank dips – 10 reps each side
  2. Forearm hold – 10-20 sec
