Membership

Simply register at evofitness.ch. Click on “Join now” in the top menu, choose between the No Commitment or 12-Month Commitment membership, and complete the registration form. Once you’ve entered your personal and payment details, you’re all set as an EVO member.

You can choose between two membership types:

At signup, you’ll be charged a membership fee for the remaining days of the current month, plus a 69 CHF joining fee. There are no additional hidden costs.

It depends on the membership type:

* 12-Month Commitment Membership: Minimum duration is 12 months.

Yes, the minimum age is 18 years. You may be asked to show ID. If a member is found to be under 18, the membership will be terminated without refund. In special cases, 16- and 17-year-olds can join—but only if the registration is completed on-site and in the presence of a legal guardian.

Yes! Just send an email with your full name and member ID to [email protected]. The 12-month commitment will start on the first day of the following month.

No, EVO memberships are strictly personal and may not be shared. Using or lending your access chip to others is prohibited and can result in immediate termination of your membership.

Access

After signing up, you’ll receive a temporary access code valid for 30 days. Within that time, you’ll need to pick up your personal access chip at the club. You can collect it during staffed hours, which you’ll find at: evofitness.ch/club-supervision

Log in to MyEVO and order a new one under My Membership > Access Chip. A fee of 15 CHF will be charged to your payment card. The old chip will be deactivated, and you’ll receive a temporary PIN via SMS to use until you pick up your new chip.

Once your membership ends, your chip will be deactivated. Feel free to dispose of it—or keep it as a small reminder of your time at EVO.

Yes! After signing up for a new membership, just contact our staff. We’ll happily reconnect your wristband or chip to your new membership.

Yes, in most cases your EVO membership gives you access to all EVO clubs in Switzerland. Some memberships may be limited to specific clubs—check the details in your membership terms, available under “My Membership” in your MyEVO profile.

Staffed hours

MyEVO

Once you become an EVO member, you’ll get access to MyEVO – your personal member area. There, you can manage your membership, update your contact details, view payments, and edit your credit or debit card information.

To log in, go to evofitness.ch and click on MyEVO in the top right corner or go directly to me.evofitness.ch. Use the email address and password you entered during registration to access your account.

First training at EVO

Please bring comfortable workout clothes, clean training shoes, a towel, and a padlock for your locker.

Don’t forget your water bottle – staying hydrated is key to a great training session.

Of course there is no real dress code, but we have a few rules and guidelines.

  1. Please wear clean workout clothes and indoor shoes. Leave outdoor shoes on the shelves by the entrance.
  2. It is not permitted to exercise shirtless.
  3. Due to its health benefits, we encourage training without shoes. However, for hygiene reasons please always wear socks.

At EVO, we value a respectful and supportive training environment. Please follow our EVO Etiquette, outlined below and displayed in every club. Repeated disregard may lead to cancellation of your membership.

1. SHOES OFF

Please remove your street shoes and place them in the designated storage units at the entrance. You can train in socks, but for hygiene reasons, training completely barefoot is not permitted. The shoe shelves are for use only while you’re in the club.

2. HYGIENE AND CLEANLINESS

Use a towel and disinfect the equipment after use. Do not leave any personal items or rubbish behind. Keep the changing rooms and showers clean.

3. SAFETY AND ORDER

Choose weights that you can safely control and do not drop them on the floor. Put weights and used equipment back in their place after training.

4. MOBILE PHONE USE

Set your mobile phone to silence and do not use the phone in the training zones.

5. LOCKERS

Only use the lockers while you are training and bring your own padlock. The shoe lockers at the entrance are also only allowed to be used during training.

6. OPENING HOURS

The club closes automatically at 23:00. Please leave the premises in good time.

7. FILMING

Private recordings are permitted if no other people are visible, and their training is not disturbed. Commercial recordings are only permitted with written permission from EVO.

8. PERSONAL TRAINING

Only the external personal training partners of EVO Fitness are allowed to offer personal training at our clubs. Other people who do not have a collaboration contract with EVO are not authorized to carry out personal training at EVO.

9. YOUR SPACE

This is your gym, your space, your time – treat it with respect. Be friendly and supportive to other members. Train quietly, do not block equipment: a positive atmosphere contributes to a better training experience.

Yes. All new members are invited to attend a free group induction class, led by our qualified staff. You can find the schedule at evofitness.ch/induction-classes.

If you’d prefer a more personalized introduction and a tailored training plan, you can book a session with an external personal training partner. Contact details are available at evofitness.ch/personal-training.

Even outside staffed hours, your safety is important to us – all clubs are equipped with video surveillance for added security.

EVO does not offer regular group classes. However, in some clubs, EVO staff or external personal training partners may occasionally organize special group sessions. Check with your local club for availability.

No, EVO clubs do not have saunas or spa facilities.

Personal training

Go to evofitness.ch/personal-training, choose your preferred external personal training partner, and contact them directly by email or phone. Please note that these trainers operate independently of EVO Fitness.

No. Only EVO members are allowed to train with a personal trainer in our clubs.

You may only offer personal training at EVO if you have a collaboration contract with EVO Fitness. Providing services without such an agreement is strictly prohibited and may result in the cancellation of your membership and your clients’ memberships.

This is a temporary card verification, not an actual charge. It confirms your card is valid and disappears automatically after a few days – no money is deducted.

No. At EVO, all monthly membership fees are charged on the 1st of each month, and this date cannot be adjusted individually. However, if we have not succeeded in charging you the monthly fee on the 1st of the month, the payment system will attempt to charge your registered payment card every night until the payment goes through.

As long as your payment goes through before the end of the month, your membership stays active. Nevertheless, you will receive automatic payment notifications, but you can see these as a reminder. You can train as usual despite the late payment.

EVO has a 1-month paid notice period, which means that after cancellation, your membership remains active until the end of the following month.

During the cancellation process in MyEVO, the exact end date of your membership was clearly displayed on the screen. Shortly after cancelling, you also received a confirmation email stating the last day of your membership.

Membership cancellation

As an EVO member, you manage your membership through MyEVO. To cancel, you must log in to MyEVO and process the cancellation yourself. Requests to cancel your membership via staff, email, or letter will not be accepted.

After completing the cancellation, you will receive an email confirming the termination of your membership.

The membership will end according to the terms and conditions of your contract.

* If you have a No Commitment Membership, your membership will remain active until the end of the following month after cancellation, and that month will also be charged.

* If you have a 12-Month Commitment Membership and cancel before the end of the 9th month, your membership will remain active until the end of the 12th month. If you cancel after the 9th month, your membership can be cancelled monthly with a notice period of 3 months.

First, make sure your membership is not frozen or paused. Memberships within a freeze period cannot be cancelled. If that is not the case, please contact our support team at [email protected].

Also remember:

* No Commitment Memberships have a 1-month notice period.
If you cancel today, your membership status will be shown as “in cancellation” and remain active until the end of the following month, which will also be charged.

* If you have a membership with a commitment period, you can view your cancellation terms in MyEVO, under “My Membership” > “EVO membership terms and conditions.”

Yes, as long as you are still within your cancellation notice period (your MyEVO status will appear in orange and say “Membership in cancellation”). To reverse the cancellation: Log into MyEVO, go to “My Membership”, and click to reactivate your membership.

Once your membership has ended completely (status in red and says “Cancelled membership”), it cannot be reactivated. In that case, you will need to sign up again for a new membership.

* For No Commitment Memberships: Once cancelled, the membership remains active until the end of the following month, which will also be charged.

* For 12-Month Commitment Memberships:

* If cancelled before the end of the 9th month, the membership runs until the end of the 12th month.

If you freeze a 12-Month Commitment Membership, the commitment period will be extended by the number of months your membership is frozen.

On special occasions and events, EVO offers a 7-day trial in addition to the regular 1-day trial. This gives you the chance to try out our clubs completely free for 7 days.

No, the 7-day trial is not a membership. You can cancel the free trial at any time on MyEVO within the 7-day period. However, if you don’t cancel by the end of the 7th day, you will automatically become a member.

Yes, you can. EVO Fitness is fully certified by Qualicert, confirming that our facilities meet high standards for safety and quality. This certification ensures that members are well supported during training and in case of emergencies.

As a result, EVO members may be eligible for a reimbursement of up to 90% of their annual membership fees, depending on their health insurance provider. This applies to both membership types – No Commitment and 12-Month Memberships.
