Take&nbsp;<strong>HIIT<\/strong>, for example. It&#8217;s&nbsp;<strong>short for High-Intensity Interval Training,&nbsp;<\/strong>and the name says it all: short bursts of intense exercise alternated with low-intensity resting periods. But there&#8217;s more: under the HIIT training umbrella, you&#8217;ll find EMOM, AMRAP, and today&#8217;s star&nbsp;<strong>Tabata<\/strong>.&nbsp;<strong>Developed by Dr. Izumi Tabata, it consists of 20 seconds of flat-out exercise at maximum intensity with 10 seconds of rest.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This<strong> full-body Tabata workout&nbsp;<\/strong>is divided into&nbsp;<strong>3 groups with 2 exercises each&nbsp;<\/strong>\u2014 meaning it consists of 3 different Tabatas. You&#8217;ll perform each for <strong>5&nbsp;minutes and in 5 rounds<\/strong>, which will take you around <strong>15 minutes<\/strong> to complete. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1st group <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Push-ups<\/li><li>Jumping lunges <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2nd group<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Tuck jump burpees<\/li><li>Dips<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3rd group<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Commando <\/li><li>Flutter kicks<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ready? NO PROBLEM.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>EVO nurtures natural movement and our workouts, such as this one, usually require little to no equipment and minimal training space, making it easy to perform them everywhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">WORKOUT EXERCISE LIST<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>5 rounds<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1st GROUP<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1 &#8211; PUSH-UPS<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>20 sec on, 10 sec off<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\" id=\"block-1733488f-cbe2-444d-a8f4-46e7743267ae\"><li>Start in a plank position with arms straight, shoulders above wrists, and body in a straight line.<\/li><li>Engage the core and glutes.<\/li><li>Keeping the shoulders over the wrists, lower the whole body towards the floor, dropping comfortably as low as you can.<\/li><li>Push the body upwards and return to the start position. Keep the core engaged and the torso upright. Use the arms in opposition to the legs to counterbalance the movement (if necessary).&nbsp;<\/li><li>As soon as you hit the lowest point, explosively jump upwards and split the legs on the other side. Grasp the edge of it, pointing your fingers to your feet.
